Scope and controller
This policy covers the informational Blackceron website, not the separate DEFONDO shop or client systems. The website operator and controller is Blackceron Capital LLC, 8 The Green, Set B, Dover, DE 19901, USA. Privacy contact: office@blackceron.com. Blackceron has no registered Austrian branch.
Information processed
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH. When you visit, STRATO processes connection information such as your IP address, requested resource, timestamp, referring page and browser information to deliver and secure the website. STRATO also provides server-based access statistics; these are distinct from browser analytics scripts. According to STRATO’s hosting documentation, client hostnames or IP addresses in customer-accessible logs are anonymised. Access logs are available in the customer portal for the previous six weeks, and error logs for the previous five days subject to an entry limit. These availability windows do not establish a deletion period for every category of provider-held data. Our email service, including office@blackceron.com, is hosted by STRATO. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments and any other information you choose to include. Email correspondence is subject to our ten-year email archive, as explained below. Please do not send account passwords or unnecessary sensitive data.
This website contains no contact form, account registration, payment processing, analytics scripts, advertising pixels or third-party embeds. Its font and image files are hosted on the same website, without external font or image services. The motion control stores a preference only when used, as described in the Cookie Policy.
Purposes and legal bases
We use website connection information to deliver and secure the site, and information you provide to answer enquiries, discuss proposed work, administer agreed business relationships and meet legal obligations. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to reply without relevant details and a contact address.
If the GDPR applies to a particular processing activity, relevant bases may include legitimate interests in operation, security and general correspondence, steps requested before a contract or performance of a contract, legal obligations, and consent for optional processing that requires it. Applicable international requirements depend on actual activities, not merely company incorporation.
Recipients and international processing
STRATO GmbH provides our website hosting, email service and email archive. Authorised company personnel handle enquiries and administer these services. We do not forward correspondence to another external email or archiving service. STRATO and the service providers it engages may process information as necessary to operate and secure these services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Blackceron Capital LLC is a US company; its incorporation does not mean that this website or its email archive is hosted in the United States. Our hosting, email and archive services are provided through STRATO. Applicable international-transfer requirements depend on the actual processing and access involved. For information about processing locations and any applicable transfer safeguards, contact office@blackceron.com.
Retention
Our email archive has a ten-year retention period for archived correspondence, including message content and attachments. This describes our configured archiving practice; it does not mean that every email is legally required to be retained for ten years. Applicable deletion rights and any duty to shorten retention remain unaffected. A deletion request is assessed according to the type of record, applicable retention duties and any need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The ten-year archive setting alone is not a reason to refuse a valid deletion request.
Website connection and security records are separate from the email archive; the ten-year period does not apply to website access logs. STRATO’s customer-portal log availability is described above. Deleting a message from an active mailbox does not necessarily delete its archived copy. Requests concerning erasure are therefore assessed for both the mailbox and archive. Separate records needed for a legal obligation or a specific legal claim may be retained for the relevant required period; the archive period does not override an applicable right to earlier erasure.
Your rights
To request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with your enquiry, email office@blackceron.com. Explain the request and the contact address used with us. We may request proportionate verification but will not ask for account passwords. Statutory rights and exceptions depend on applicable law; see the US section below.
International visitors may have additional mandatory rights under applicable law. Nothing here excludes those rights. Where applicable, these include restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.
US visitors and tracking signals
Privacy rights under US state laws depend on residence, business coverage and processing activities. Where applicable they can include access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out and appeal rights. Requests and appeals can be sent to office@blackceron.com without discrimination for exercising applicable rights. We will handle requests within the time limits applicable to the request and explain any applicable exception or refusal. To appeal a decision where an appeal right applies, reply to our response with your reasons or email the same contact address.
This website’s code does not sell or share data for cross-context behavioural advertising or carry out targeted advertising. It does not track activity across third-party websites; consequently it does not change tracking behaviour in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. If we introduce processing requiring additional opt-out or consent controls, we will update this notice and provide the applicable controls before that processing starts.
Children and updates
This business website is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and address it.
